2 Different Ways To Use Oreos

This blog page is going to be about 2 different ways to use oreos. Oreos are VERY well known sandwich cookies that comes in many flavours. For these 2 recipes, you can use any oreo flavour you want. I just used the regular ones. Let's get started!

#1: Oreo Balls(Amounts vary to your choice)

What you will need:
-Oreos
-Cream cheese(to give a tangy taste) or condensed milk(to make sweeter)
-Chocolate melts of your choice(I used milk chocolate)(You may also use a different type of chocolate to drizzle onto the balls)
-Plastic wrap
-Parchment/wax paper
-Tray
-Food processor/blender

Directions:
1. Grind your oreos in the food processor/blender very well.
2.Add your cream cheese/condensed milk into the oreos and mix until it is turned into a dough texture.
3.Take it out of the food processor/blender then wrap with plastic wrap then let it cool in the fridge for 5 minutes.
4.Roll your cooled oreo dough into balls then put on a tray lined with parchment/wax paper.
5.Let it cool in the freezer for 7-10 minutes.
6.While waiting for your oreo balls to cool, melt your chocolate.
7. When all the oreo balls are cooled, cover them in the melted chocolate.
8. Let it freeze for another 10-20 minutes.
9. Enjoy your oreo balls.

#2:Oreo Cheesecake Bites(http://www.snackworks.com)

What you will need:
-36 oreo cookies, divided
-1/2 cup butter, divided
-4 pkg.(8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
-1 cup sugar
-1 cup sour cream
-1 tsp. vanilla
-4 eggs
-1 pkg.(4 oz.) semi-sweet baking chocolate

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 162 C(325 F)
2.Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, with ends extending over sides
3.Finely crush  24 cookies.
4. Melt 1/4 cup butter; mix with crumbs. Press onto bottom of prepared pan.
5.Beat  cream cheese and sugar with mixer until blended
6.Add sour cream and vanilla; mix well
7.Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each just until blended
8.Chop remaining cookies
9.Gently stir into batter; pour over crust
10.Bake for 45 minutes.(or until centre is almost set)
11.Let it cool
12.Meanwhile, microwave chocolate and remaining butter in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec to 1 min or until butter is melted.
13.Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended
14.Cool slightly; spread over top of cheesecake
15.Refrigerate for 4 hours
16.Use foil handles to lift cheesecake from pan before cutting to serve.
17. Enjoy your cheesecake bites!
